Week 9
Our 20 percent project was one of the more creative than the others. We are a bit behind but that isn't stopping us. Our next topic as you know is Memorial Day and we will be collecting the letters shortly before that. We are trying to end off our project right by getting all the letters we can. When we are done we will be writing thank you letters for the teachers that supported us and helped make this project possible. The letter will not only be thanking the teachers but also the students that actually wrote the letters. We appreciate everything and everyone that the students did and helped us with. We are hoping the military actually got to read these letters we have been sending and enjoyed them as much as we did. This project was not only a good deed but it was a learning experience and it make me smile every time I read the letters that were brought in.

Week 5
Hello everyone! I would like to start by telling you guys that my partner and I have been thinking, since Memorial Day is on May 26, and today is only March 7th my partner and I are thinking of putting together another day to send in more letters, maybe in the month of April. We don't know the exact date or the topic that will be used this time because we haven't fully thought this idea out, but with the help of all our supporters and the people joining in to help make letters we believe this experience will be as successful as the ones previous to this one. Anyways, since we aren't to sure if we are sending more letters in between now and Memorials Day let me say a little about this day we call Memorials Day. To many people it just means a day off of work and nothing else, but do you know what it really stands for? To military troops and people who know a lot about the United States history it means much more than that. Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. To many of us it doesn't mean much, but to the Military and many others it means everything. We should all keep this in mind when writing to the military.

Week 4
Two more days until the season of love is over, and with the cards and letters already sent out all we can do now is wait until Memorial Day. Memorial day will be the next and last time we will be sending out letters. If you haven't sent in letters to the military or to my partner and I , I urge you to join in and show your appreciation one last time. As I said in my first blog, my main goal is to spread some joy and love around, and what better way to do so than with a letter?? A letter might not seen like very much but similar to the way one thing can brighten up your day, one letter can brighten up a veterans day, week, or even month. People get lonely no matter where they are, but with the help of you we could encourage our military, keep them happy, and keep them company. Even though a letter is just a piece of paper it can do all this and more, so you tell me ... Isn't it worth it ?

Week 3
The letters have been sent!! I sent the Valentine letters out myself just the other day. I Know the soldiers will love them and hopefully they will write back. Our next writing occasion will be Memorial Day, I hope every one gets their pencils sharpened, their papers ready, and write as much as they can to the military. Memorial Day is actually a pretty big day for the United states. We will be sending out these letters on time this time. I am working on writing thank you letters for the teachers that provided us will letters from their students. The letters will be thanking the Teachers for their support and it will be thanking students for taking the time to write. The letters were very sincere and appreciative, i am so excited to see what the military has to say about it. Don't forget to write to the military!!!

week 2
Our season of love letters were amazing!!! I would like to thank everyone who brought in letters. We have been running a little late but its okay because its the season of love which means the letters can still be brought in and sent out. The soldiers will appreciate all of the love and kindness coming their way. We received bout one hundred or more letters , THAT'S AMAZING!! If you still haven't brought in any letters we greatly encourage you to. We would especially like to thank Mrs. Swans class because all of her students brought in letters. The amount of appreciation and love we are sending is putting a smile on every ones faces, from the soldiers who receive them to my partner and I who will send them. Thank you all and you are all amazing.

Week 1
Although we are currently not receiving letters we will be very soon. Our next set of letters will be mostly for the season of love. <3 <3. We will be sending out emails and letting the teachers know to start piling up letters and send them our way. It's never to late to show your appreciation for the military, so start writing letters and send them to Savanna High school! This will be greatly appreciated. We are always looking for humble students, teachers, or anyone that has the capability to write a letter to help us send some love around the world. Writing to the military is not always the most fun thing to do, but serving in the military isn't very fun either. Its a lot easier writing to the military than serving in the military. Please show your appreciation and send your letters on in, its never to late to spread some love!!
